Since graduating from the University of Nottingham, Sy completed an MA in Advanced Theatre Practice from the Central School of Speech and Drama. From here, he performed in many UK shows before relocating to Hong Kong.
As well as acting, Sy has created experimental and cabaret productions in both Hong Kong and the UK. He also teaches theatre in Hong Kong.
