After graduating, John moved to the University of Liverpool to complete a PhD. After this he lectured in Nigeria before settling on a career in healthcare computing in the UK.
John has written three novels to date, all of which have been nominated for writing awards. He has also written a review book of over 130 UK zoos, safari parks, aquaria and bird gardens.
