Bateman’s adaptation also made interesting use of a single white screen behind which actors were cast in silhouette, a technique that was really effective in showing two scenes simultaneously and creating a sense of history in the play. The NNT season is due to open soon and I for one am looking forward to seeing as much as I can of the season which will be performed at the New Theatre on the University campus.
